 I visited this salon two days ago. If you're a product junkie like I am, you will LOVE Earth Aveda Salon. As soon as you walk in the door, there's eye candy everywhere: to the left, to the right, in the middle, by the cash register. Make up, hair product, oils, it's great.
My stylist was Tammy. She's super friendly and really easy to get along with. She understood what I was looking for and went to it. She offered me a neck massage and I declined (to be honest I didn't want to ask if it costed extra). But then when she washed my hair with their amazingly smelling Shampure line, she gave me a neck massage then, and oh wow. It felt so nice to relax after a long day of work and get your hair and neck pampered.
Tammy cut my hair just as I had pictured. I left the salon completely satisfied.
Two days later I'm still happy with my cut, I wasn't wishing she had cut something differently like I often do when I leave other salons. |

This salon is WONDERFUL! I ended up at Earth salon after a waxing referral from another Aveda salon. They weren't kidding when they said Krystina is the best at what she does! She's fast and pretty darn close to painless.
The salon is always clean, well kept, stocked full with product and fully operation as a salon and a small spa. Their hours are so great, and I can always get an appointment last minute (M 9am - 8pm, T - F 8am -8pm, S 8am - 6pm, Sun 10am - 6pm). And they always have great coupons on their website.
As Dani mentioned, Danielle is AWESOME! I have curly hair that I alternate between straightening or wearing curly. Most stylists are a bit timid when cutting my curls, afraid they are going to take it one step too far. In the end, I tend to lean toward fun and funky short cuts, and Danielle is as conservative or creative as you want. For me, that resulted in funky and fun. Every time I go, I let her use her creative side and do what she thinks works for me. And whether I want the same cut again, or something entirely new every time - Danielle is ready for the task!
So, if you're looking for a great salon - this might be the one. I highly recommend everyone I've seen there (like you can't tell!). |

Shelley does GOOOOOOOD work.
The only thing I've been here for is a haircut from Shelley. Well worth the $55 (base price. I hope you tip well because good stylists deserve it!)
Shelley is just a fabulous stylist, and if Earth Aveda's other employees are anything like her, well then, they've got a good thing going. Why so fabulous? From my first visit, she knew my hair intimately. She really listened to everything I said about how my hair acts and my ups and downs with past styles/stylists. And then she styles accordingly. She doesn't go crazy with experimental styles like some other stylists. I think she herself is a low-maintenance gal, so she understands.
And they don't push products too hard here. Big plus. I bet they do MORE business because of that. |

It's an Aveda Salon (so you know your getting good products), Wonderful staff - truly! If you are a virgin to Aveda salons try here and you'll be hooked.
I have never been 'attached' to a hairstylist before now....it's such a comfort and good sign of quality customer service to see the same faces sitting in the stylists chairs around me every time I visit Tammy. The shop is clean, quiet and roomy! An added bonus is that there is a Starbucks directly next door if you don't like Aveda's herbal tea collection. There is a great nail salon right around the corner too! Treat yourself to a pampering day in one shot! |

I have a regular hair person that I have gone to for years, so I go to this spa for the massages and facials. I had a ton of stress on my back and shoulders the last time I went and the masseuse (sorry, don't remember her name!) mainly concentrated on those areas. After my massage, she wasn't pushy trying to sell me alot of product...I hate when people do that, so I was happy that they haven't done that to me. She did, however, recommend a product to me that they didn't even carry in the spa, which was great, because she was obviously not trying to hard well me on anything...but was recommending something that she really felt I would like. They have emails that they send out letting you know about specials they have where if you book fast enough, you can get 20% off from the price of the available service. |

This is a nice hair-salon that features only Aveda products. When you walk in, the Zen-inspired space smells fabulous as all Aveda products are infused with essential oils. The salon is very modern and Zen-like. You would never know it from the outside and its location is in a not-so trendy strip mall.
The stylists are all well-trained and do not have that upscale salon attitude if ya know what I mean....a little more sleepy beach vibe here.
The spa is nice but I would prefer to go to more of a day spa salon only for my bodywork.
They do sell all of the wonderful Aveda products here and always have specials going on.
